After actor and host Mario Lopez revealed in his memoir Just Between Us that he slept with a "mega pop star" once, various sources have confirmed to Us Weekly that the secret pop star was actually pop princess Britney Spears!
According to the 41-year old Saved by the Bell star, the one night stand happened years ago in Las Vegas. He admitted on the Ellen DeGeneres Show just last month that the rendezvous happened between six to eight years ago.
At that time of the rendezvous, both parties were single.
The America's Best Dance Crew host also added to DeGeneres that he and Spears still remain "friendly" to one other. Last December 2013, Lopez had joined the 32-year-old singer onstage for the opening night of her Vegas residency, Britney: Piece of Me.
After six years of dating, Lopez had married actress Ali Landry on 2004 and two weeks later, their marriage was annulled. In an interview three years ago, Lopez had admitted that the annulment occurred after Landry discovered Lopez had been unfaithful to her just a few days before their wedding at a secret bachelor party.
From 2006 to 2008, Lopez subsequently dated professional dancer Karina Smirnoff who is also his partner on the show Dancing with the Stars.
In 2008, Lopez dated Broadway dancer Courtney Mazza. Lopez and got engaged over the 2011-2012 New Year's weekend. They got married last December 2012 and have a daughter born 2010 and a son born 2013.
On the other hand, Spears married her childhood friend Jason Allen Alexander in Las Vegas and annulled 55 hours later. In 2004, Spears got engaged to American dancer Kevin Federline and got married that same year. Spears and Federline have two sons together. In 2006, Spears filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
Just this August, Spears had broken up with boyfriend David Lucado claiming the latter had been unfaithful.
