'Sherlock' star Benedict Cumberbatch has recently become the hottest actor in Hollywood. However, recent reports of him being off the market are breaking hearts everywhere.
According to a report by Mirror UK, the 'Star Trek' actor is dating Oxford graduate Sophie Hunter, who he met on the set of the 2009 movie 'Burlesque Fairytales.' The pair were spotted at the French Open in June of this year. The Daily Mail has also seen them enjoying a movie and theatre date in August.
Prior to dating the theatre actress and director, however, the 'Hobbit' actor had been linked to several ladies in the past. The longest relationship he had was with actress and screenwriter, Olivia Poulet, who he dated for more than a decade. His last (public) girlfriend was furniture designer Anna Jones but they broke up in 2012.
The British star has also been seen on alleged dates with several celebrities. He was reportedly seen holding hands with actress Charlotte Asprey during his birthday, just days after being spotted with hugging and kissing Russian model Katia Elizarova in Ibiza in 2013. Cumberbatch's reps later clarified that the two were "just friends."
