iTouch 6th Generation was nowhere to be found on launch!

A few days ago, most of the technology segment news focused on how iPod Touch 6th Generation will be release in the next Apple event that was held on Thursday, but unfortunately did not happen.

Apple iTouch fans became frustrated. They have retained their touch 4Gs the minute they heard the 6th Generation's release. They've been waiting for the 6G, so they keep their pockets closed even they are tempted of buying the latest 5G. Yet, instead they are left with a 6G no-show.

Resulting to rumors and speculations over the internet that Apple is just doing this for promotions. Many have assumed that Apple iTouch 6G might never be release or not even in development.

However, according to recent updates from Mac Rumors, the release date for iPod 6th Generation has been postponed to 1st quarter in 2015, somewhere near the launch of Apple Watches. Postponements in the development and testing phase are being mentioned as the main reason behind the change of date. There are also rumors that the testing of two different screen sizes just like iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are being done.

Different sources reported that the new iPod Touch 6 is being developed as a complete entertainment package rather than just a music player. The makers want to include whatever they can, mainly because of so much of competition around. That is exactly why they do not want to speed up the process and make it just another device.

Many product analysts believe that the 'bendgate' issues have made Apple dig deeper into such design issues that can later cause problems to the consumers.

Meanwhile, experts keep coming with the possibilities that the new generation iTouch might not just come up with a music player but also with advance retina display, enhanced screen resolution for better video quality, additional storage space up to 128 GB, Touch ID and a compatibility with the Watch in order to make payments through Apple system.

Till now, fans needed to wait until early 2015 for their 6G releases. But we'll still keep you updated regarding prices, features and especially the release date soon!
