A "How I Met Your Mother" star is about to be a mother for the second time! Cobie Smulders and husband Tarran Killam are expecting their second child together, a report from People confirmed.
Cobie Smulders and husband Tarran Killam welcomed their first child Shaelyn Cado 5 years ago. In an appearance on The Bonnie Hunt Show shortly after giving birth to her first child, the "Avengers" actress shared how she felt about being a mom for the first time, saying "I think I sleep an average of four hours a night now, so it's just like functioning on fumes sometimes. But it's the best."
The actress was also quick to jump back to work after giving birth and told OK magazine at the time, "It's a lot of work and I feel extremely grateful because my job allows me a lot of flexibility and freedom. And financially I am able to have a lot of help around."
Smulders and co-star Alyson Hannigan were both pregnant at a time and the two reportedly bonded over their situation and their conversations then revolved around the pregnancy. "You really can't help it, because you have babies on the brain, and you can't help but talk about it a lot," Smulders said in an interview. "From creams, doctors, birth methods, dilation ... You talk about everything."
Apart from bonding over preganncy, Hannigan, along with their co-star Neil Patrick Harris was present during Smulders and Killam's wedding in 2012 at the Alisal Guest Ranch and Resort in Solvang, California.
The couple dated for eight years and announced their engagement in January 2009.
Smulders's projects slated for 2015 include "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and "Results," and Killam is busy with comedies "Brothers in Law" and "Casual Encounters."
Meanwhile, details about Cobie Smulders and husband Tarran Killam's second child have not been divulged.
