We will be seeing more of Henry Cavill as Superman, as recently confirmed by Warner Bros. Pictures. There have been a lot of speculations on the movie sequel of "Man of Steel" but now that the formal announcement came straight from the horse's mouth, this must be really good news for all Superman and Cavill fans.

The hunk actor is guaranteed to play Clark Kent a.k.a Superman in a few movies until 2019. He is currently filming Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, after which he will be doing several other superhero movies that will be released by DC Universe in the coming years. Below is the official press release statement from Warner:

"In a massive expansion of the Studio's DC Entertainment-branded content, Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema will release a slate of at least 10 movies - as well as stand-alone Batman and Superman films - from 2016 through 2020 that expands this prized universe of characters:

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," directed by Zack Snyder (2016)

"Suicide Squad," directed by David Ayer (2016)

"Wonder Woman," starring Gal Gadot (2017)

"Justice League Part One," directed by Zack Snyder, with Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Amy Adams reprising their roles (2017)

"The Flash," starring Ezra Miller (2018)

"Aquaman," starring Jason Momoa (2018)

"Shazam" (2019)

"Justice League Part Two," directed by Zack Snyder (2019)

"Cyborg," starring Ray Fisher (2020)

"Green Lantern" (2020)

Based on the list of movies above, our Man of Steel is sure to have four movies between 2016-2019. Reports say that he might even do a cameo in the Batman movie.

In the meantime, excitement is building up as more and more "behind-the-camera" pictures taken from Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is the direct sequel to 2013's Man of Steel, are emerging on the Internet. There have also been rumors of Batman's sidekick Robin, to be played by a girl. The leaked information has revealed that Jena Malone (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire) will play the said role. How true is this? We will definitely find out if this rumor is true in the coming months. The movie is scheduled to release on March 25,2016.
