Uh oh! Our very own Carrie Bradshaw has upset the real owners of her townhouse steps! Sarah Jessica Parker, who played one of the four main characters in Sex and the City, has posted a picture in Instagram with her on her former set's stairways. The real owners did not react well to this the actress who posted photos on the steps of the West Village home while promoting her shoe line.

The owners of the West Village home had placed a sign in front that reads, "Do NOT go on staircase please" after several people flock into their staircase everyday at 66 Perry Street just to see the storied steps - and maybe take a picture of it.

In the photo, Parker laid out a line of her shoes on the stoop of the house last October 7. This was after the sign and a chain were installed. She captioned, "It was take your @sjpcollection shoes to work day #longdayforCarrie #whewwwwthosesteps #runninginheels #taxi!"

According to Page Six, the real homeowners were not delighted with Parker's "unauthorized" photoshoot. In an interview with the president of the Perry Street Association, Gerald Banu revealed to the paper that, "I heard about the shoot. They didn't get the permission from the owner. The situation with Sex And The City visitors is still very intense. People who live here get upset that the sidewalks are constantly jammed."
