PS4 System Update 2.0 Release Date, Download: New Futures For Share Play, YouTube, And More

Sony Entertainment System has already announced that the upcoming PS4 system update 2.0 will include various improvements for the next generation gaming console.

Codenamed Masamune, the PS4 system update will include Themes, Share Play and even updates from YouTube.

The official Play Station blog has listed numerous improvements that owners can expect from the PS 4 system update 2.0. Such updates and improvement include enabling owners use their own music collection to play in the background of their game as long as they use a USB Music Player.

PS4 owners can change theme as well as background color. The seven new colors include blue, green, gold, gray, purple, pink and red.

The "What's New" section will also include prospective friends for you as part of the PS4 system update.

Live Broadcasting has vastly improved. PS4 owners can now watch broadcasts from either official Play Station or game channel or friends that they are following. Filters have been added that will search for specific live broadcasts and even achieved ones.

The PS4 system update has made some positive changes in the content area. Players will have an easier time finding their favorite games and content. The content area will feature 15 of the most used games as well as apps by the player. The PS4 library has an improved filter that will aid players search for contents much easier.

Players will notice vast improvements in the voice commands under the PS4 system update. To begin a command an owner only has to say, "Play Station" and after wards say, "All Commands" in order to see a list of available voice commands. There will be a few voice commands added such as "Start Broadcast", "End Broadcast" and "Find Face."

The PS4 system update release date is expected to be ready by nest week. The PS Vita and PS TV will also be updated. At the same time Play Station apps for mobile devices will also receive updates.
