Cory Michael Smith's Edward Nygma, a.k.a. The Riddler, always makes the most out of his short appearances in the Gotham TV series. Six episodes into the show, fans can't help but ask why Nymga isn't getting same amount of exposure as Robin Lord Taylor's Oswald 'Penguin' Cobblepot or other characters. Nygma dazzles with his riddles and cryptic questions that help the GCPD solve crimes easier. Because of this, fans think it is about high time that he gets more focus.

In previous Gotham TV series spoiler from Hit Fix, Cory Michael Smith said that series creator Bruno Heller made him known that the public is aware that Edward Nymga is the Riddler. Thus, they are trying to stay away from that as possible. Although that has been the mandate for now, Smith is still looking forward to working with some other characters aside from Ben McKenzie's Jim Gordon and Donal Logue's Harvey Bullock. Who among the Gotham TV series characters he wants to interact with?

Just like everyone else, Smith is amazed with Taylor's convincing portrayal Oswald Cobblepot. For Smith, Taylor is making the young Penguin look more intriguing. In an interview with Give Me My Remote, Smith that he wants to see his Riddler interacting with the Penguin. He even said that they will make a good team.

GMMR: Is there anyone particular from the villains you are interest to see what the relationship would be like?

Smith: Absolutely. Well, I'm...Robin Lord Taylor is a friend and is great actor and we are already joking that the Penguin and the Riddler could really cause problems in the city.

"Just because he's such a creep and Edward Nygma thus far is, he's like the brains of something and like to have little more fun. It's like they are two different villains and I think they can be fun."

He insisted though that Edward might not be safe with Oswald because of his exploits, and shenanigans.

"I don't think Edward should ever trust Oswald, no one can trust Oswald," he added.

Another character Cory Michael Smith hopes to meet as Gotham TV series progresses is Fish Mooney (played by Jada Pinket Smith) who he describes is so "cool and seductive, and chill."
