The production crew of The Big Bang Theory had a successful conniving with their live audience during the film recording of The Big Bang Theory episode featuring Billy Bob Thornton as the doctor that Penny sales flirted to score a sale for her pharmaceutical job. It was so well received when it was shown Thursday, that now, one doesn't know what to expect next in the coming episodes of the comedy show.

Just to relive that episode of The Big Bang Theory with Billy Bob Thornton as Dr. Oliver and Johnny Galecki as Leonard:

"She came to my office and winked at me. I came to offer a romantic relationship," - Dr. Oliver

"I'm pretty sure she didn't wink at you." - Leonard

"Oh, she did. Seductively, like this (gesturing the wink).. Then she touched my arm in two Mississipies. Like this (holding Leonard's arm) ...One Misssissipi.,,Two Mississipi..- - Dr. Oliver.

It was hilarious.

How The Big Bang Theory got Billy Bob Thornton to guest on the show was a blessing. According to Steve Molaro in an EW interview, "A few months ago, we had seen an interview with Billy Bob talking about shows he likes. He was saying how much he likes Big Bang Theory, and watches it all the time, and gets so into it [that] he starts talking to the characters on the screen.. We thought that was so cool, and we think he's so great. When we started thinking about Billy Bob, the thought was that he could be the doctor who doesn't quite understand the signals-that this would be a socially awkward doctor who falls for Penny's sales flirtations. We went back to Billy and his people with that thought, and they thought it was really fun and cool, so we went from there."

True enough, the episode stunned The Big Bang Theory fandom that they're now in the mood of expect more surprises in the future episodes. Who knows, maybe a regular viewing time with Billy Bob Thornton in the show as the doctor smitten to Penny, then to Amy, then maybe.. Sheldon?

Looking at it on another side, show spoilers should now check on the live audience to get them to spill out what would be tomorrow's surprises. That will make TV watching more and more interesting.
