"I am thrilled to open the first Togo's in Arizona and I am confident residents of the Town of Gilbert will become big fans of the brand once they try our delicious, seriously stacked sandwiches, wraps, salads and more," Togo's new franchisee Monty Coury stated for the press release. "I grew up in the restaurant business and once my wife and I tried Togo's food, we knew we had to open a restaurant near our hometown."

Togo Eateries, of which 250 franchises are located across the United States, marked its 40th anniversary this year, said the press release. The new location in Gilbert opening this August will serve customers from 10:00am - 9:00pm from Monday through Friday, 10:30am - 7:00pm on Saturday, and 11:00 - 5:00pm on Sundays. Togo's sandwiches are made of lean meats, including pastrami, 97 percent fat-free roast beef, 98 percent fat-free slow-roasted turkey, and 100 percent natural chicken, listed the press release, all set on Artisan bread. The restaurant chain also provides albacore tuna and chicken salads for their selections, as well as soups and salads for appetizers.

Coury, who had his first Togo dining experience in California and found the food delicious, is set to open two more Togo's restaurants in Arizona in Maricopa County as part of its expansion throughout the state.  This is part of Togo's nationwide expansion plan, where they set to seek 400 new locations in the states of western states of California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Arizona by 2015, said the press release.
