Since arriving in Gotham City, Ben McKenzie's Jim Gordon has faced a lot of criminals in different forms and personality. He manages to overcome them all and always makes sure that punishment is given to those who breaks the law, no matter who they are. Gordon continue to abide by the law despite the fact that all the people and institution around him are corrupt. However, Gordon might not stay as that as Gotham goes along.

In an interview with the Entertainment Weekly, show runner Bruno Heller teased that 'at a certain point', Jim Gordon will have to drop the 'good cop' image. He even described this dramatic change on Gordon's personality as big and scary.

"At a certain point, Gordon says, 'Screw it. I'm tired of playing it safe and being cautious. I'm going to go full throttle to bring down the corrupt police administration,'" said Heller who also acts as one of the executive producers of Gotham TV series.

So what are those events that will transform Jim Gordon? Does that involve his wife Barbara (Erin Richards) who has always been very stubborn? Well, all that is left is to wait and watch further Gotham TV series episodes.

Meanwhile, the show's new 'good guy' Harvey Dent (played by Nicholas d'Agosto) has arrived in the city to aid Gordon in his mission to clean up Gotham. But of course, as well know, he is not really a good guy. He will become Two-Face as Gotham TV series progresses, if that is included in the plan.

For Nicholas D'Agosto, he thinks that his character becoming Batman's main nemesis Is a must.

"I don't even know if it'll happen," the Master of Sex star said according to the Wrap.

"I would be surprised if it didn't."

In previous interview with Zap2It, D'Agosto said that his character will become a regular in Gotham TV series' second season. For now, he is Jim Gordon's back-up and partner.

"I'm not quite a villain yet, which is actually one of the exciting things about my character," D'Agosto also explained. "There's fun in having Harvey be an ally of Jim Gordon for a long time - there are so many villains in this world."
