Kourtney Kardashian's Baby Photos of Penelope Scotland Not in Demand

Jul 11, 2012 04:06 PM EDT

Reality T.V. stars Kourtney Kardashian and her partner Scott Disick may encounter a hard time selling the pictures of their newborn baby girl Penelope Scotland Disick, compared to if the photos were of sister Kim Kardashian's baby,  according to an expert.

The couple, who may be used to getting tons of media attention and requests, may find that the birth of their first baby girl might not garner as much attention. An un-named entertainment magazine editor, who remained nameless, told the Huffington Post that Kardashian's new baby isn't such a big deal.

"It's been a long time since paying to secure exclusive images of a celebrity baby guaranteed huge sales," the editor told The Huffington Post. "Kourtney's second child isn't such a big deal. If it were Kim's baby, it might be different, but with the exception of hardcore fans no one is waiting to see what Penelope looks like."

Meanwhile, Jessic Simpson who recently gave birth to daughter Maxwell, sold exclusive right sto the first photos of her baby for $800,000 to People magazine.

"She will be lucky if she gets $20,000 to $30,000 for the pictures," one editor tells me. "The Kardashian craze has been over for some time now. Now a picture of Tom and Katie is worth more."
