While news of "Beetlejuice 2" developments have surfaced online, another Tim Burton film is gaining buzz as novel "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" movie adaptation news and updates gets its release date and other new details revealed.

Tim Burton is widely known for his quirks on making darker and horrifyingly enchanting versions of films with "Alice in Wonderland" (2010) and "Dark Shadows" (2012) just among his recent creations. While he has directed "Beetlejuice" in 1988 and again resumes the director's chair in the upcoming "Beetlejuice 2", he takes on another project based on a novel by author Ransom Riggs.

"Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" release date has been initially set for July 31, 2015, however was moved to a later date in March 4, 2016 for undisclosed reasons. While script development and other pre-production details are reported to be ironed out and filming to begin in February, this release date remains solid and hopefully no delays will occur.

Production news reveals that while the crew is set to begin filming in February to meet the 2016 release date, and the location apart from London will be back in Tampa Bay where Tim Burton filmed his most famous collaboration with A-list superstar Johnny Depp, in the 1990 film "Edward Scissorhands."

According to Tony Armer, St. Pete/Clearwater Film Commission head, "They are, like 99 percent confirmed... but chances are extremely good that they'll be shooting here in the spring. It'll be shooting primarily in London, but parts do take place in Florida... The crew will be here longer than the actual production, " reports Tampa Bay Times.

The synopsis of "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" reads "a horrific family tragedy sets sixteen-year-old Jacob journeying to a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the crumbling ruins of 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children'. As Jacob explores its abandoned bedrooms and hallways, it becomes clear that the children who once lived here-one of whom has his own grandfather-were more than just peculiar. They may have been dangerous. They may have been quarantined on a desolate island for good reason. And somehow-impossible though it seems- they may still be alive," based on the author's official site.
