After more than a decade of publication, Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's novel "Good Omens: The Nice And Accurate Prophecies Of Agnes Nutter, Witch" debuts on radio, spurring on questions if a film or TV adaptation is around the corner.

"Good Omens" is among the many multi-awarded novels that has made both authors a household name in fiction. According to Neil Gaiman in a recent interview with BBC, "Good Omens is a story about how the world is going to end next Saturday. Just after tea. And how the only things standing between us and the inevitable Armageddon are a demon, Crowley, and an angel (and rare book dealer), Aziraphale, who are, rather uncomfortably, working together, not to mention a witch, a very small witchfinder army, the Antichrist (who is 11, and very nice) and his dog."

Terry Pratchett, apart from co-writing "Good Omens" with Neil Gaiman, is known for his other multi-awarded novels that include "The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents". He was known as the best-selling author in UK during the 1990s, and has received numerous honors worldwide.

Meanwhile, Neil Gaiman is known for more than his novels but also for his short stories and graphic novels, led by "The Sandman" series, for which is currently under development for film adaptation.

In an interview with BBC, Neil Gaiman shared how the two worked together on "Good Omens" that ultimately led a radio show debuting recently. He said: "We wrote the first draft in about nine weeks. Nine weeks of gloriously long phone calls, in which we would read each other what we'd written, and try to make the other one laugh. We'd plot, delightedly, and then hurry off the phone, determined to get to the next good bit before the other one could. We'd rewrite each other, footnote each other's pages, sometimes even footnote each other's footnotes."

While the radio adaptation of "Good Omens" continues, news on other media adaptation specifically film and TV has yet to be explored. In as early as 2002, a film version of "Good Omens" was reported to be in the works involving Terry Gillaim, however there hasn't been any update since.

TV adaptation of "Good Omens" on the other hand has had the same development, as it was reported in 2011 that Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett are closely working together for a televised version of "Good Omens". However, same with the film adaptation, nothing has developed regarding the TV adaptation of the cult classic, "Good Omens: The Nice And Accurate Prophecies Of Agnes Nutter, Witch".
