Sage Stallone's Funeral not a Westboro Baptist Church Target, Cause of Death Unknown

Sage Stallone's private funeral on Saturday was allegedly going to be picketed by the controversial Westboro Baptist Church, who is known for picketing military funerals, however there has been no report that the funeral has been targeted by the church today.

Earlier this week, Perez Hilton reported that the group planned to picket the funeral services for Sage Moonblood Stallone who died on July 13. The Westboro Baptist Church alleges that because his father, action star Sylvestor Stallone had multiple spouses, it led to a dysfunctional upbringing for Sage. This makes him responsible for his son's death, which is largely speculated to be a suicide from a drug overdose. Authorities have not yet confirmed the cause and said it may take months before a conclusion can be reached.

The group is known for showing up at high-profile funerals, alleging that the deceased "mocks" God, led a sinful lifestyle, or is dead because they are gay. It is also famous for outlining its reasons on its website's picket schedule.

However, because there is no mention of Sage Stallone's funeral on the website, it is speculated that the protest may be carried out on social media instead.

Police have confirmed that a large quantity of empty prescription bottles in Sage's bedroom, "more than 60 gigantic bottles, like the ones in pharmacies," the report said.

According to TMZ, law enforcement said detectives found "several little baggies in the bedroom." The white powder will be tested but it is so far believed to be either cocaine or crushed Vicodin.

Sasha Czak, Sage's mother, believes he may have died from an overdose of pain killers after he underwent an extensive amount of dental surgery. Czak said she had urged him not to have so much dental work carried out in one day. According to the New York Post, Sasha said her son had five teeth extracted two weeks before he was found dead at his Hollywood home last Friday from a suspected drug overdose.
