‘Episodes’ Star Matt LeBlanc And His Girlfriend 'Better Off Ted' Actress Andrea Anders Split After 8 Years Together

It's confirmed; another heartbreak at the start of the year. "Episodes" star Matt LeBlanc and his girlfriend, "Better Off Ted" actress Andrea Anders broke up after 8 long years together. This was confirmed by Le Blanc's rep to "Us Weekly". The former "Joey" star and the actress had apparently decided to end their relationship some time ago.

Anders started her relationship with "Friends" alum Le Blanc in 2006 while they worked together in the short lived spin off of "Friends" series, "Joey". This was shortly after LeBlanc had separated from his wife Melissa McKnight.

Last Monday, January 5, LeBlanc was seen flying solo when he attended the season 4 premiere of his comedy series, "Episodes", in Los Angeles. Before that, the couple were last spotted together a few months ago, at the Emmys in August.

47-year-old LeBlanc is best known for his character as Joey Tribbiani on the NBC sitcom "Friends" which ran for ten years, from 1994 to 2004. He also starred in its spin-off "Joey" which ran for two years from 2004 to 2006. In 2011, LeBlanc starred as a fictional version of himself in the BBC Two/Showtime television series "Episodes" which was created by co-creator of "Friends", David Crane and Jeffrey Klarik. For his work on "Episodes", he won a Golden Globe award and was nominated three times for an Emmy. For his work on "Friends", he was also nominated for an Emmy three times.

In 2003, the actor married former model Melissa McKnight. They have a daughter together named Marina who was born in 2004. LeBlanc and McKnight separated on 2006 and ended up in a divorce a few months later, citing irreconcilable differences. He then dated Anders who was known for her character as Alex Garrett on the NBC Sitcom "Joey", as Nicole Allen on the CBS sitcom "The Class" and as Linda Zwordling on the ABC sitcom "Better Off Ted".
