The year 2014 was surely a console war for Sony and Microsoft with their PlayStation and Xbox consoles, respectively; however, one brave modder was able to fit these two great consoles, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, into one powerful gaming laptop.

Eddie Zarick, a mad genius behind PS4 (PlayBook 4) and Xbox One (Xbook One) laptops, has created a fusion of Sony and Microsoft's consoles called PlayBox 4One.

The genius modder shared his new creation through his official YouTube account and is said that this concept is requested by a client. The PlayBox 4One is a bit larger than Playbook 4 and Xbook One that features Xbox One in one side and PlayStation 4 on the other. According to Polygon, the size of the prototype is comparable to Zarick's Xbook Duo, an Xbox One and Xbox 360 combo.

Although this gaming laptop featured both gaming console, one can only be used at a time to avoid overheating. PlayBox 4One has a single power cord, an HDMI-out port, smart HDMI switch, Disk drives for each console, two Ethernet ports for wired Internet connection for each console and a switch that is used to swap between consoles. The thick portable box is equipped with a 22-inch Vizio monitor, custom graphics and a sturdy plastic casing. The PlayBox 4One package also includes two wireless black controllers.

According to the modder, he did encounter some issues creating the prototype. The major one was with the PS4's power button not working consistently as it is having an interference with the Xbox One.

Zarick says he does not have any plans yet on producing more PlayBox 4One, unless requested and did not confirm on how much the product will cost. Although it is expected by many that the new portable box will be pricier compared to his last creations - Xbook One priced at $1,500 while PlayBook 4 priced at $1,400.
