Justin Bieber has gotten himself into a royal sticky mess. In an interview, Bieber slams Prince William and says he needs to get some products to fix his thinning hair and the British media is not taking the pop sensation comments lightly.

Bieber recently joked about Prince William's noticeably thinning hair to UK's Rollercoaster magazine where he doled out some advice for the potential future king of England.

"I mean, there are things to prevent that nowadays, like Propecia," Bieber, 18, told the U.K.'sRollercoaster magazine about the 30-year-old royal's thinning hair. "I don't know why he doesn't just get those things, those products. You just take Propecia and your hair grows back. Have you not got it over here?"

Not surprisingly, Brits are taking the "Boyfriend" singer's careless remark about their future King as a national affront.

British journalist Jessica Callan tells The Huffington Post, UK citizens "are viewing Justin Bieber's diss about Prince William's challenging hair problem in the same way you view an annoying fly buzzing around you.

"He needs to be swatted away," she adds. "Wills and Prince Harry may joke about William's thinning hair, but that doesn't mean a kid like Justin can come sauntering in and join in the joke."

The "Baby" singer has been rather of all that's going on in London these days, including the Olympics of course.

Earlier this week, Bieber recorded a video message for swimmer Missy Franklin, 17, congratulating the high school senior on her four gold medals.

"I was flipping out when I saw it!" Franklin told Us Weekly. "His little brother was in it, too, and he's the cutest thing ever. It was insane. I was so excited.
