You might not see the new characters when "Hannibal" season 3 premiere episode airs but the NBC show will be delving deep into the "Red Dragon" world.

In fact, the cast is now almost complete as the NBC show confirmed another new character that will play a big role in Will Graham's (Hugh Dancy) quest to stop serial killers on their tracks has been found.

In a report by Variety, "True Blood" star Rutina Wesley is confirmed to join "Hannibal" as Reba McLane, the blind woman that interested the Tooth Fairy. In the movie version, Reba was played by Emily Watson.

"'True Blood's' Rutina Wesley has chosen an equally gory series for her rebound role, joining NBC's 'Hannibal' as a pivotal character from Thomas Harris' 'Red Dragon' novel in season three," Variety wrote.

"She'll play Reba McClane, a blind woman who enters into a relationship with the psychotic Francis Dolarhyde (Richard Armitage), and helps soothe his murderous urges - at least at first. Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) will come into contact with Dolarhyde (aka "The Tooth Fairy") around the eighth episode of the third season."

"Hannibal" season 3 premiere episode will feature Dr. Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) and Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) posing as couple in Europe.

This part of the show is a nod to the film "Hannibal" wherein Juliane Moore's Clarice Starling traveled to Italy to chase Hannibal. For this, the show cast Fortunato Cerlino as the Italian Chief Inspector Rinaldo Pazzi who in the book and the film tried to capture Dr. Lecter to get the bounty for himself.

Other "Red Dragon" characters being filled are Will Graham's wife Molly to be played by Nina Arianda and Francis Dolarhyde to be portrayed by Richard Armitage. Tao Akamoto is also a newcomer in the show. The "X-Men" star will play Chiyoh, the handmaid to Hannibal's aunt Lady Murasaki. There were also some major changes in old cast as Michael Pitt has been replaced by Joe Anderson as the sadistic Mason Verger.

"Hannibal" season 3 premiere date is set on summer.
