Benedict Cumberbatch's baby with his new wife, Sophie Hunter, will be coming out soon but the "Sherlock" star is still quite busy with the awards season.

Not only is this the best year of his personal life, it has also been a very successful time for his acting career.

BBC's "Sherlock" not only got recognized at the Emmy Awards but his outstanding performance in "The Imitation Game" also earned him a Best Actor nomination for the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes, the BAFTAs, and the SAGs.

Being recognized by such prestigious award giving bodies is such an honor but the talented actor is actually very eager to finish this year's awards season.

"I've been on muddy fields and on horseback playing Richard III for the BBC and I've been on more flights to Los Angeles and back than I can count," he told Baz Bambigoyle of the Daily Mail. "All of that has been special, but I'm ready to have a couple of months to ourselves to prepare for the baby and do some nesting."

He's taken on characters of great kings and extraordinary detectives but he's still about to take on the biggest role of his life - being a dad.

"It's a real-life role, not a part," the British star shared.

Although Sophie Hunter and Benedict Cumberbatch's baby doesn't have a sex yet, various talk show hosts have already given their suggestions as to what the tot should be called.

Ellen DeGeneres suggested that the lovely couple name their child Englebert, Harpsichord, Glockenspiel or Carl.

Jimmy Kimmel, on the other hand, thought it would be awesome to give the future Cumberbatch a name that starts with a Q.

Meanwhile, the pregnant Sophie Hunter has been accompanying her husband to the different awards shows since January. Hopefully they will get the chance for a proper honeymoon after the Oscars this Sunday.
