Apart from Bo Derek, a younger actress will be joining the cast of the upcoming Syfy TV movie. The star of "See Dad Run", Ryan Newman, shared the good news on Instagram. The 16-year old actress posted a clip of the news and captioned the photo: "Me and Meryl [Streep] hangin out together on Deadline Hollywood!! #Sharknado3"

Newman will play Claudia Shepard, who is the daughter of the lead characters (Ian Ziering and Tara Reid). The news also revealed that the Sharknado phenomenon will invade Washington D.C. then head to Eastern Seaboard.
