In the wake of the announcement the highly anticipated Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Manny Pacquiao fight, many "experts" and pro boxers came out to say it will be a boring one.

They say this mainly because of the fighting style of the undefeated American boxer. Among those who are skeptical this fight will be a slobberknocker are Juan Manuel Marquez who fought the two fighters and Amir Khan who desperately wants to get in the right with either of the two.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Manny Pacquiao fight is expected to become the richest in history. This alone is testament that fans are still excited about the fight.

According to reports, the two fighters will share a $300 million profit (60%-40%) in the fight alone, plus the earnings from pay-per-view, tickets, and sponsorships.

While some rivals of Mayweather are predicting a slow tempo fight, the American fighter assures the bout will live up to its billing.

"My mentality in the sport of boxing is to win first always but, of course, you always want to give people their money's worth," Mayweather said in a report by Tim Dahlberg of the Associated Press. "There's been fights I look at and say I'm not really pleased with that even though I won. We're pushing ourselves extremely hard. If the fight was today I could go out and perform and look well."

Right now, both Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao are busy in their training after meeting at a press conference in Los Angeles a few weeks ago.

Reports have it that, that was the one and only time the two will meet face to face until May 2 at the MGM Grand Arena.
