Ed Sheeran Girlfriend: Is Barbara Palvin The British Singer’s New Flame After Split With Athina Andrelos? Pair Spotted Partying Together!

Jamie Oliver's production assistant, Athina Andrelos isn't Ed Sheeran's girlfriend anymore. He confirmed the split during an interview with Australian radio station KIIS 1065.

He looked visibly affected by the split as the radio DJ Kyle Sandiland asked him about his relationship status out of the blue. He also couldn't answer fellow DJ Jackie O if he wanted his new status.

His breakup with the Greek beauty may not have worked out but it seems that the red-haired Grammy nominee is coping up well.

According to The Mirror, Sheeran was spotted hanging out with Victoria's Secret model, Barbara Palvin in Sydney, Australia. They reportedly grabbed some burgers and enjoyed their time together.

"Ed and Barbara looked relaxed and happy," a witness allegedly reported. "They seemed to be enjoying each other's company and having a laugh."

Was the supermodel just helping the "Thinking Out Loud" hitmaker to get over his ex-girlfriend or is there something going on beyond the usual friendly chatter?

According to the source, "There was definitely a spark."

Before potentially becoming Ed Sheeran's girlfriend, Palvin was rumored to have dated Niall Horan from One Direction. In turn, Horan was coincidentally linked to Sheeran's ex-girlfriend, Ellie Goulding.

Goulding controversially cheated on the 24-year-old songwriter with the "You And I" singer.

Meanwhile, Sheeran and Andrelos were together for one and a half years before calling it quits. They supposedly had a long talk about his behavior at a BRIT Awards after party last February. She also got fed up with Sheeran's inability to fend off girls that bother them while on dates together.

They reportedly talked about their relationship during a drive to the airport the next day and "decided to take a break because it was unfair on both of them."
