Aching to see new episodes of Netflix superhero TV series "Daredevil?"

Fans might have to be patient a little more as the Marvel superhero will not return on boob tubes until next year. In an interview with Empire, Charlie Cox, who plays the title role, revealed "Daredevil" TV series season 2 release date will not be earlier than what most fans expect/want.

"We'll begin shooting in the second half of the year," Cox said adding that "Daredevil" season 2 will coincided with the commence of production of other superhero series to be offered by the streaming company.

"Season two will come out about this time next year. Again, I'm imagining all this, but they'll probably do Iron Fist or Luke Cage at the same time, followed by the other one [of the two] in the first half of 2016 and then maybe Defenders in the second half of 2016 or the beginning of 2017."

Aside from the "Daredevil" TV series season 2 release date, the English actor also named other comic characters he would want to see his character go face to face with.

"Based on the show we've created, which is very grounded in reality, I'd like to see Punisher maybe show up," Cox told Empire Online. "A little bit of Elektra maybe. I wouldn't mind Black Widow making an appearance, and you can't think about Daredevil for too long without thinking of Bullseye. I don't know when or if or how that would happen, but it'd be cool if it did."

So "Daredevil" season 2 release date will not come earlier but if the wish-list of Charlie Cox gets granted, then fans are up for a big treat. It is not only the second season of Man Without Fear series fans should be excited. Even the "Civil War" film. That is if the studio gets to arrange a cameo appearance for Daredevil in the 2017 film.

Talking to IGN, Cox expressed interest in appearing in "Civil War." However, the decision is not on his hands and his schedule might get in the way.

"Well he's in the comics, but I think they're already... I think I might have missed that boat... So unless someone watches the show and falls so madly in love with it that they decide to get me in for a day, that would be great, but I have no idea."
