The new "Pitch Perfect 2" teaser showcased a new version of the iconic song "Cups" as they share a vulnerable moment around a campfire.

According to previous reports, the new sequel will be the last year for familiar faces from the Bellas which includes Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and Brittany Snow.

"It makes me sad to think it won't ever be like this again," Kendrick said at the start of the clip, perhaps suddenly feeling nostalgic about everything they've been through.

Before graduating, however, the Bellas will be taking on one more huge challenge - a world acapella competition. In the first film, they were able to win the national competition thanks to their originality.

However, after years of winning every acapella contest after "Pitch Perfect", the Bellas have reportedly lost touch with their roots. They want to win the world competition so much that they end up losing their own color and their own unique feel.

In order to get back to their own roots, they go on a boot camp. Will they be able to get their voice back with the acapella boot camp?

According to People, singing "Cups" was originally Carter Family song released in 1931. Singing it in a mellow way around the campfire would be "super-appropriate to the song's old-timey roots."

It's also "really affecting, to boot."

The "Pitch Perfect 2" teaser shows that the sequel won't just be all fun and songs, the girls will also have moments of vulnerability and softness.

Glimpses of the fun and laughter that the film promises to deliver can be seen in other clips. Brittany Snow, new cast member Hailee Seinfield and Rebel Wilson presented a clip at the MTV Movie Awards.

The clip brought out the classic "Pitch Perfect" acapella battle against the European group using 90s hip hop jams.
