Fox recently announced that the world will be seeing "American Idol's" final season next year after being on air for a decade and a half. Despite the cancellation looming over the long-running audition show, the network is planning to give it a proper send off on its last run.
In fact, auditions will be starting this July, just a couple of months after Nick Fradiani was announced as the 14th "American Idol" winner.
Fox 31 reported that the "American Idol" auditions picked Denver as the first stop in the tour. Producers will meet aspiring contestants at the Denver Coliseum on July 10.
If they do get a chance to go on the live show, there would be a huge possibility that the final batch of contestants could face the original judges of the show.
"Without a doubt, the original three judges will come back to 'American Idol' to do something during the final season," Hollywood Life quoted an alleged source. "It is easily the one thing to expect to happen next year!"
If Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson do come back on the judging table, then it would be the first time that all three original judges would be complete since season eight.
Keith Urban told Access Hollywood that all the judges that ever joined the show should come back for at least one episode each for the "American Idol" final season.
"I'd love a revolving chair at the desk, for every judge to come back at least once every show. I would love it. It would be fantastic!" he told Access Hollywood. Ryan Seacrest also agreed that bringing in the three original judges would be "remarkable" for "a little bit of fun chemistry."
