Is there a hot new couple in Hollywoood?
Joe Jonas and Gigi Hadid had been spotted out and about together a short while after the model's breakup with long-time boyfriend Cody Simpson was announced.
They had lunch together and even looked at an adoption center to look at dogs after a workout.
With the frequency of their supposed dates, Jonas finally spoke up about the dating rumors on Access Hollywood last Thursday.
His declaration that he's "a single man" was met with a quip from Kit Hoover, however.
"Joe, I'm just happy you're happy," Hoover teased.
"You're putting words in my mouth, huh?" the "I Can Do That" singer replied, adding, "Do you want me to jump up and down on the couch?" alluding to Tom Cruise's famous Oprah interview back when he and Katie Holmes were still in love.
Officially, the former couple broke up for the second time earlier this month due to their busy schedules.
"Cody and Gigi want each other to be in a place right now that allows him to only focus on his music, fans, and new message, while she can focus and continue building her career," ET Online quoted a statement from Hadid's representatives.
"They love each other dearly and have split up in hopes that growing on their own paths will bring them together in the future," the rep continued.
According to Simpson's younger sister Alli, it doesn't look like Joe Jonas and Gigi Hadid will end up together since the breakup didn't seem to be final at all.
"We're all still hanging out," Alli Simpson reportedly told Seventeen Magazine. "We're super close and all care about each other immensely."
She also believes that the adorable former couple will get married someday, adding that they are "so adorable. They bring out the best in each other."
