Sorority hazing, a mysterious death in the past, a killer in a red devil costume, Emma Roberts' mean girl streak, Nick Jonas without a shirt and more crazy hilarity make up the "Scream Queens" trailer recently released by Fox.

Ryan Murphy pooled together several of the cast members from his other shows "Glee" and "American Horror Story" to star in his new horror comedy anthology. While only snippets were shown in the past couple of months, Fox finally released the official teaser of Murphy's brainchild and fans aren't the only ones excited for the new show.

Kay Perry made her excitement for the upcoming "Scream Queens" premiere public on Twitter right when the trailer was released.

"Zomg. I want to watch every episode of the new Scream Queens right now #notanadd," the "Roar" singer gushed on the microblogging site last week.

Even the Critics' Choice Awards recognized Murphy's upcoming series as one of the most anticipated shows this year.

"#ScreamQueens is one of the @CriticsChoice Television Awards "Most Exciting New Series" honorees. We are truly honored!" the show's official Twitter page posted on Wednesday.

In the featurette released after the "Scream Queens" trailer, the cast shared their views on what makes the show a crazily exciting new show to look out for.

"It's horror, but it's also a dark comedy," ET Canada quoted Emma Roberts as saying. "I think there is so much that will keep everyone coming back. I know for me... when I read the first episode, I literally was like 'what?!'"

"Ryan has been so smart, to really create this whole new aspect of television," Lea Michele added.

The upcoming Fox series stars Roberts, Michelle, Keke Palmer, Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas and the original scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis among others.
