"Hannibal" season 3 premiere is on June 4 with the show's main characters miles apart from each other.
The group of Will Graham (Hugh Dancy), Agent Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne), (Caroline Dhavernas), and Abigail Hobbs (Kacey Rohl) are in the United States nursing their wounds they got from last season's bloody finale.
Mads Mikkelsen's Hannibal Lecter and Gillian Anderson's Dr. Bedelia du Maurier are in Italy posing as couple.
The "Hannibal" season 3 premiere episode will mostly feature Lecter and Bedelia. Although these two are key characters of the show, series creator Bryan Fuller warned the pilot of NBC horror drama's third run will feel like a different TV program.
"It's just for the first episode. The first episode is just Hannibal and Bedelia," Fuller told Comic Book Resources when asked about the "Hannibal" season 3 premiere episode's storyline. He added that Will Graham will only appear by the second episode.
"In a way, it might be a kinder introduction to the show because you're not coming in with an FBI criminal procedural show. You're coming in with a criminal and his psychiatrist, who have escaped the law and are living abroad and are having adventures with their situation that are exciting and intriguing. Their relationship is hard to quantify for the audience because they think, "What is she up to? Why is she on that plane?" The fun for us was like, "We have to make her smart. We can't make her brainwashed or be duped by Hannibal." She has to be a woman in charge of her own story and be driving her own story in the same way that Hannibal has to drive his own story."
According to earlier spoilers, the "Hannibal" season 3 premiere episode will pick up shortly from where it left off last season.
Aside from Will Graham's quest to catch Hannibal, the show will also introduce new characters based on the characters from the novel Red Dragon by Thomas Harris.
