In light of a suicide case that Detective Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) was working on for "iZombie" season 1 episode 11, Liv (Rose McIver) had to consume the brains of a mental hospital patient. She had to spend the entire investigation trying to figure out if she's dealing with reality or a crazed-brain induced delusion.
For the most part, she seemed fine except for the occasional talking devil (on junk food packages and mugs). She even got close to Major (Robert Buckley) again, letting him stay in her apartment when he voiced a fear to go back to his own apartment.
She also mustered up all of her courage to confess the truth about herself and zombies to her ex-fiance. However, reality blew up in her face when Major suddenly shoves the dozen or so brains he stole from Blaine (David Anders) and declared war against all zombies by the end of the episode. That was when she realized that every interaction she had with Major (when they were alone) were only a result of the brain she ate for the case.
With only two episodes left for the finale, will Major finally find out about Liv? If he does figure out the truth, will he accept her or kill her as he promised?
According to International Business Times' report about the "iZombie" season 1 finale ("Blaine's World"), Major will have a major breakthrough because of "an unbelievable situation.
Liv will also have to face a tough decision for the finale.
"After discovering new evidence in the Max Rager case, Liv and Clive pay a visit to Vaughn Du Clark (guest star Steven Weber) at Max Rager HQ. Ravi (Rahul Kohli) continues his search for a cure. Meanwhile, Blaine makes Liv an offer she can't refuse," the synopsis reads according to Combicbook.com.
The "iZombie" season 1 finale will air on June 9 on the CW.
