‘Dance Mom’ Abby Lee Miller Hints Show Might Not Last After Season 5; Talks About Her Weight Loss Due To Stress

"Dance Moms" star Abby Lee Miller recently opened up about her sudden weight loss and hints that the show might not make it past its 5th season.

The outspoken owner of the Abby Lee Dance Company recently told Extra why she lost so much weight in a short amount of time, dropping several dress sizes.

According to her, the weight loss was never intended.

"I mean I should have, but I didn't," she said, revealing that she lost so much weight due to stress while she was taking care of her ill mother, who was living in hospice care.

"I think the last six months, we were just trying to get her to eat, and the last two months people just kept bringing stuff, she was in hospice care, and you bring all of her favorites from restaurants, different fast food places, and it would make her sick," the dance instructor said. "She couldn't even look at it. She didn't want to smell, so I didn't take food in with me to eat 'cause it was making her nauseous."

She added, "Her illness and just her not wanting to eat, I wasn't eating either."

It seems that Abby Lee Miller is experiencing a lot of bad patches in her life at the moment.

Last January, a fight between her and Kelly Hyland led to a court hearing. This after Miller and Hyland got involved into a physical scuffle at an event, which was also captured by the "Dance Moms" cameras.

On the other hand, "Dance Moms," Abby Lee says, may not make it past season 5.

At the opening of her West Coast dance studio, the reality star said she "highly doubted" a season 6 due to several behind-the-scences conflicts with the producers and the network itself.

"Lifetime (Network) is a little in arrears on their payment plan with me personally, and so I think that will have to be taken care of first before we talk about season six," she told ET.

She also revealed that much of season 5 will feature "a lot of missing Abby."
