Sometimes, girls get a drastic hairstyle change when a breakup happens. However, it looks like it's Austin Mahone and not his (ex) girlfriend, Becky G, who went to a salon after the split.
According to Twist Magazine, the "Dirty Work" singer just got his hair cut to a shorter length earlier this week, posting a proof shot on Instagram.
"Thanks again for the cut @Scottwasnakstylist," he captioned the said snap.
Aside from the new look, it seems that the teen sensation also finally found a new apple of his eye. Lying on his bed topless, he posted a picture of himself with a caption that read, "she loves me."
This "she" isn't Austin Mahone's new girlfriend, however. Instead of a person, he was cuddling with a gray cat and if the feline's satisfied look is any indication, then she does, indeed, love the 19-year-old crooner.
Could Mahone be getting over Becky G already?
He reportedly told FOX 411 that he was just "chilling" without Becky G. He also insisted that despite going their separate ways, they're still close friends.
On the other hand, Australia Network noted that the "Shower" singer seems to be implying that friendship with her former beau wasn't really on the table for her.
"If they miss you, they'll call. If they want you, they'll say it. If they care, they'll show it. And if not, they aren't worth your time," her Instagram post read.
She also thanked her fans via Twitter, telling them that they made her happy despite the recent rough couple of months.
"Last show today. It hasn't been easy these past few months but through it all I always find a reason to smile. You," she posted.
Becky G may not be Austin Mahone's girlfriend anymore but the former flames still have a collaboration song together due to come out sometime soon - that is, if they would like to still promote the song together.
