Many fans think upcoming Floyd Mayweather Jr - Andre Berto fight is one sided, both in physical and financial aspect.

Berto was picked by Floyd as his next, and possibly, last fight a few months after the latter won against Manny Pacquiao in what was dubbed as the Fight of the Century.

The still undefeated American fighter was courted by a lot of boxers that are of bigger stature but he chose the current WBA Welterweight interim champ.

Floyd Mayweather Jr - Andre Berto fight is on and will still generate tons of cash, he insists.

For Berto, it does not matter what people think. When their boxing match date comes, he is positive he will be able to put on a good show. He is ready to surprise Floyd and boxing fans.

"I know Floyd's sharp and elusive, but he's not stronger than me and I believe he hasn't dealt with the type of ability he'll see from me," Berto said in an interview with Los Angeles Times.

Floyd Mayweather Jr almost lost to Marcos Maidana last year and Andre Berto witnessed that. He even thinks he is an improved version of Maidana.

Against Floyd, he believes all he needs to is duplicate what Maidana did and improve on some things.

"Maidana's game plan of pressure was good, but he was all over the place," Berto said. "The thing with me is that I'm a lot more polished. Faster. More precise with my punches, better technique-wise.

"This is my first time as an underdog. That's motivation. I bust my [rear] every day. And I feel real confident. I'll make people believe."

Berto also commented on video clips of Floyd Mayweathers Jr seemingly too relaxed and confident in their bout. This includes a basketball game with some NBA stars. He accepts the cockiness of Floyd but he warned, "destiny" is about to happen.

"That's something he has to deal with and go through," Berto said. "Maybe he thinks it's easy, that he doesn't have to be pushed, but I've learned in a lot of situations, life can come at you in ways you don't expect and change your plans.

"I can tell you I'm looking forward to making history. Destiny's at play."

Floyd Mayweather Jr - Andre Berto fight is on Sept. 12.
