Following Taco Bell's success with its Doritos Locos Tacos, Subway is trying to jump on the bandwagon and capitalize on the popular food item.

According to GrubGrade, the world's largest fast food chain is testing their new product, the Fritos-stuffed Crunchy Chicken Enchilada Melt, in central Florida and Seattle area Subway restaurants. This new product is made constructed of shredded chicken in enchilada sauce, Monterey Cheddar and Fritos chips.

The sandwich features shredded chicken doused in enchilada sauce, Monterey cheddar and Fritos chips. According to a GrubGrade report, the Crunchy Chicken Enchilada Melt has been spotted in central Florida and is now available at Subway restaurants in downtown Seattle and sells for $7.50.

"It's like a giant taco, a bit better quality than you would get from Taco Bell," a commenter on GrubGrade's site wrote of the new sandwich.

"It was a bit of a mess, but quite delicious," another commenter on GrubGrade's site wrote."It's like a giant taco, a bit better quality than you would get from Taco Bell, but $8."

According to their website, they now have over 39,500 stores in 102 countries.
