If you were there at the event, Miss Universe China 2015 Jessica Xue will let your think she is the perfect candidate for the global pageant happening later this year. Wearing an emerald gown, she dazzled the judges with one of them even selecting her among the other contestants.
"It is my dream to be Miss Universe and will never stop until I bring honor to my home country and of course, to my birthplace, Shenzhen," she said during one of the interviews.
Miss Universe China 2015 Jessica Xue dreams to become a host someday and wants to give a positive influence on people through her aspirations and advocacies. She is a professional model and radio host in her country.
"I know that the Miss Universe Organization takes pride in promoting several causes and help humanity," she said during a press conference, as reported by a pageant insider. "I grew up in a place and I take this journey of mine as an inspiration to help others."
This representative from China hopes to make history and win the highly coveted Miss Universe crown in a venue yet to be announced.
It has been earlier reported that the pageant will be held in Shanghai, China after Miss Universe 2014 Paulina Vega allegedly said that the Miss Universe 2015 pageant will be crowning her successor in the Asian nation.
"Mr. Trump [told] me the next edition will be held in China," she said in the report. "I'm going to be charmed with crowning my successor in China."
Since the beginning of the Miss Universe pageant, China has never captured the crown yet. In 2002, China placed second runner-up with Zhuo Ling clinching the spot.
It was in 2011 when China placed in the Top 5 once again with Luo Zilin and followed by a Top 15 finish with Jin Ye during the Miss Universe 2013 pageant held in Russia.
