Even with his busy schedule, President Barrack Obama took notice of a post by the "Humans Of New York" Facebook page.

Calling the post featuring an Iranian father recounting his 10-year-old son's "humanitarian" actions "inspirational," the US leader wished to meet the boy and ask him for an apricot as well!

"Today's his tenth birthday," the father, who lives in Tabriz, Iran with his little boy, said in the viral post. "He's a very emotional young man. He likes to solve other people's problems."

"One time when he was five years old, he came with me to the store and we bought two pounds of fresh apricots. I let him carry the bag home. He walked a little bit behind me the entire way. After awhile, I asked him to hand me an apricot. 'I can't,' he said. 'I've given them all away.' I knew then that I was raising a humanitarian."

President Obama promptly shared a personal comment on the "Humans Of New York" post through the official White House page.

"I hope this young man never loses his desire to help others."

He also took the anecdote as a motivation "to continue doing whatever I can to make this world a place where he and every young person like him can live up to their full potential."

"And if I ever get to meet him, I hope he'll save me an apricot!" he added.

He even signed the comment "bo" which, according to The Telegraph, is a sign that the president himself is the one commenting and not his media team.

President Obama's comment on the "Humans Of New York" post wasn't the only praise that it got.

Other visitors of the Facebook page called the dad an excellent father for being proud of his son's action instead of reprimanding him for "wasting money."

"If only everyone was as sensitive as he is, there wouldn't be any refugees dying out in the seas!" Facebook user Mahnoor Shahid commented on the photo.
