Xbox One November Update: The Official Release Of Backward Compatibility Feature

Microsoft revealed Xbox One November Update features ahead of its release.

The most awaited Xbox One Backward compatibility goes official in November. Whereas, players will be able to play over 100 Xbox 360 games on Xbox One in which more games will be added in the months to come. This feature also includes screenshots, streaming, and game DVR, Gematsu reported.

OneGuide has been revamped to make TV, movie and video apps more accessible. TV Shows with the highest views and moments on Xbox will appear on trending list, while picture-in-picture mode has been added for simultaneous viewing.

"We'll highlight a selection of the most exciting new movies, TV shows and deals from across the apps on Xbox One and the new App Channels area will show you the latest movies, TV shows and videos highlighted by the apps you care about.," Mike Ybarra, Director of Program Management for Xbox revealed the major Xbox One update coming in a few months.

An overhauled UI will bring an easier access to previous games used. Also, it allows users to share their achievements on Xbox Live Community. Where the new update aims "to make Xbox One more social" as based on gamers feedbacks.

"This section is optimized to help you tap into what other gamers are doing on Xbox Live and directly contribute to the conversation happening within the Xbox Live community. Check out what your friends are up to or keep track of the games you follow in the redesigned Activity Feed. Explore the new Trending section to view the most popular posts from players on Xbox Live."

In addition, Mike Ybarra noted that the New Xbox One Experience will be integrated to Windows 10 which brings popular features 50 percent faster.

It will be exclusive first-hand to Xbox One Preview Progam as the features is still a "work-in-progress " until Xbox One November update rolls out.
