"Need For Speed" PC release date has been pushed back to 2016.

In a recent blogpost by the game developer, it was stated that Ghost is working on an unlocked frame rate for the PC version- one of the most requested from "NFS" fans.

"Part of the conversation includes hearing from our PC community that an unlocked frame rate in "Need for Speed" is a massive priority for you, and we fully agree," the blogpost reads.

"To deliver this, we've made the decision to move the PC release date to Spring 2016."

Along with "Need For Speed" for PC release date delay announcement, Ghost reassured fans that "Need for Speed" for PS4 and Xbox One release date remains the same. It will arrive in North Americxa on November 3, 2015 and November 5 worldwide, while its closed beta version will be arriving in the coming weeks to test server infrastructure whether the game is ready for launch, Gamespot reported.

"Since this is a connected game, server stability is at the forefront of discussion, and rightfully so. We will be undertaking a closed beta on PS4 and Xbox One in the coming weeks to help us test our server infrastructure to help prepare for launch. We're taking great steps to ensure that your experience is not compromised, including having dedicated servers to make host migration a thing of the past," the post continued.

Ghost added that content updates that will be released on Xbox One and PS4 will be made available for the PC version when it goes official.

Previously, the game developer also confirmed that the Xbox One and PS4 versions of "Need for Speed" will run at 30fps.

"We always look to maximize the game technology with the platform technology for the experience we're building, which is why the game will run at 30fps on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4," according to a new FAQ released by Ghost.

"By doing this we ensure that your gameplay experience remains incredibly smooth and allows you to experience the high speed, adrenaline fuelled gameplay that you've come to expect from the Need for Speed series."
