‘Starcraft 2: Legacy Of The Void’ Release Date: Blizzard Brings Massive Changes On The Upcoming Expansion

Ahead of "Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void" release date, Blizzard's lead producer revealed some changes on the game through the next expansion.

 In an interview with Gamespot, he explained that the upcoming "Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void" will be more exciting through its multiplayer side as an esport compared to "Heart of Swarms."

He also added that they've put "a lot of work improving the user experience" which brings the chat system.

"But the front end, as a whole, we want to make your entry to the game a better experience for players. So in the coming weeks or months ahead, players will start to get ahead for Legacy of the Void," Tim Morton said.

It was announced at the "StarCraft II" World Championship Series Season 3 Finals held in Krakow, Poland the official "Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void" release date to be on Nov. 10 for Mac OS and Windows PC only. In-line with the announcement, its opening cinematic was previewed at the event, Market Watch reported.

"Legacy of the Void provides an epic conclusion to a story more than 17 years in the making," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment as cited by Market Watch.

According to IGN, pre-order has began to roll out which will be available in three editions: Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and a retail-exclusive Collector's Edition.

Prior to "Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void" release date, Blizzard introduced a new cooperative mode on the expansion which allows players to join other forces against an enemy, IGN reported.

"In Allied Commanders, you play as one of the many heroic leaders in the StarCraft II universe. Each with an arsenal of various powers and abilities and a select group of unit types which you may use to compose your army. All of these tools make playing each commander a unique experience," the game developer posted on Battle.net.
