Floyd Mayweather Jr - Manny Pacquiao fight underwhelmed according to fans and critics.
The battle, which took place on May 2 at the MGM Grand Arena, was won by Floyd via unanimous decision. It generated the highest amount of profit but critics and fans alike don't think it deserves the title "Fight of the Century."
While Pacquiao insisted he should have won and did his best to give Floyd his first loss, he has another revelation regarding the result of the match. Something more shocking than his previous claim that he fought with an injured shoulder.
Manny Pacquiao, who is still recovering from shoulder injury but is already participating in tune up basketball games, revealed he already predicted he will lose in the fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. months before.
"One month before the fight nanaginip ako na natalo ako sa decision. Tapos malabo ang decision. May problema (I dreamt that I lost the decision. The decision was unclear. There was a problem)," Pacquiao said during an interview with Karen Davila of ANC.
He added that what happened was something God wanted to and he is blessed because HE informed him beforehand.
"Naka-smile ako dahil nakita ko na ang mangyayari before pa (I smiled because I already saw what would happen even before), added Pacquiao who earned a maximum of $120 million in the fight.
"One month before ipinakita na sa akin. So blessed pa rin ako na na-inform ako ng Panginoon na ganito ang mangyayari," (It was already shown me. So I am still blessed because the Lord informed that this would happen).
Pacquiao's latest statement is opposite to what he claims in the media that he should have won and judges made the wrong decision. When it was revealed that Floyd allegedly used PEDs in the fight, Pacman called on the undefeated American fighter to return what's supposed to be his.
Right now, Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Manny Pacquiao fight rematch clamors are still ongoing but there is doubt it will happen since Floyd already retired.
