Nov 20, 2013 10:36 AM EST | By Justin Stock

McDonald's pork McBites have hit China the Consumerist reported Tuesday.

"If you were drunk, and could stop yourself from thinking about how the pork product interior was actually made, they'd probably be awesome," Heather Timmons said in a review on Quartz.

The news is the latest development in the fast food restaurant chain's attempt to capitalize on its infamous chicken mcnugget, and compete with Kentucky Fried Chicken who has dominated the industry in China.

If you are in China, you can pick up the newest food item for $1.50 for a container of 18. The food item has a baked outer crust with salt, pepper, and monosodium glutamate.

"Done in a Chicken McNuggets style, these porky spheres of goodness have a crispy coating like their poultry counterparts," Michael Wester, who founded and is a columnist at local China magazine Beijinger said in a review in the magazine The International Business Times reported. "In the country that consumes more pork than any other in the world, Spicy Pork McBites could be a hit. The only question is whether Chinese consumers will actually go to McDonald's for the meat that already appears in most Chinese dishes."

McDonald's receives most of its revenue from sales in other countries. These include 22 percent in Asia Pacific, and 40 percent in Europe. The success is due to the company's ability to adjust its menu to meet the needs of the culture where it has locations Quartz reported.

There is the cabbage pie in Russia and the Angus con Tabasco burger in Mexico.

Mushroom soup, veggie wraps, a drumstick, spice mcwings, chicken mcnuggets, French fires, and a corn cup  are on the menu in China according to information on the company's website.

McDonald's also strives to offer inexpensive food, quick service, spic and span restrooms, and heat and air conditioning at no charge.
