"It's a side no one's really seen."

Following the success of their debut album, Fifth Harmony is currently working with a new album and in an interview with Spin magazine, the girl group's member Dinah Jane Hansen dished new details about their sophomore album.

"This is definitely another level for us. It's a side of Fifth Harmony that no one's really seen," Hansen told Spin. "In the beginning, we were super happy. Our first album was very jumpy. This time, we're showing who Fifth Harmony really is behind closed doors."

Hansen added that their sophomore album will feature "that kind of sound" that will bring about a great transition for Fifth Harmony, which Latin Post describes as "more mature than their first album."

"At the end of the day, we'll have these little writing sessions in the studio. We're writing our own experiences about love and everything, stuff that's actually what's going on right now. We're all 18, 19, 22, so a lot is going on in our lives," Hansen further shared. "We're just happy that we get to finally have a say now with what we want and the direction that we want. We're hoping that the audience can tell."

Hansen said that their upcoming new album will prove that they can't be "bubbly, happy girls" all the time and that this time, they have to be "real women."

Will the new album have collaborations? Yes, the group confirmed that big acts like Nicki Minaj, Big Sean, J. Cole and Travi$ Scott may possibly collaborate with them. "For one of the Max Martin songs we finished, we could totally hear her [Nicki Minaj] on this one part," Hansen said.

MTV, in its report, confirmed that Fifth Harmony may be dropping a new single from their upcoming sophomore album "very, very soon." The new album, accordingly, will be released early next year.
