Despite nasty relationship rumors being thrown at them, it seems like Nina Dobrev and her new boyfriend Austin Stowell is only proving how much they truly love each other.

Following her breakup with former "The Vampire Diaries" co-star and boyfriend, Ian Somerhalder, the 26-year-old Bulgarian-Canadian actress tried to stay away from the lime light.

However, Dobrev is now becoming more and more apparent in the public as she continues to show up in events with her new boyfriend.

While they never formally admitted their relationship, People took notice of how Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell acknowledged their "boyfriend-girlfriend" status in public through Twitter.

"That weird moment when you realize you don't follow your girlfriend on Twitter," Stowell posted on Twitter.

The former "The Vampire Diaries" then answered with a rather cheesy message saying,

"That awkward moment when u realize [you're] not following him either & gotta do it real fast b4 he realizes [sic]," Dobrev tweeted.

And while Nina Dobrev seemed to have happily moved on from her failed relationship with Ian Somerhalder, the 36-year-old actor and his wife, Nikki Reed are now reportedly facing challenges in their marriage.

Apparently, the couple is now arguing about having kids.

According to OK! Magazine, the couple "may not last much longer" since, "they're arguing a lot."

According to a source of the publication, Reed is very much career driven and at 27, she still wants to do more with her career and having kids could only be a hindrance to her dreams.

"Nikki is ambitious and worries about derailing her career if she gets pregnant now," the source of the publication alleged.

Meanwhile, Nina Dobrev's ex-boyfriend is reportedly very excited to have kids already.

"Oh, hell yes! Absolutely," Ian Somerhalder answered when asked by ET about having kids. "You know, it's all about practice... It's not practice makes perfect - it's perfect practice."

"It's the most incredible thing to be happy and secure in something," he added. "It's a pretty crazy time and place to bring a child into this turbulent and insane world -- but I really can't wait to do it and really just love it."
