Blake Shelton Is A Possessive Boyfriend? Singer Does Not Want Luke Bryan To Meet Gwen Stefani

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are inseparable and today's advanced technology makes it easier for them to keep in touch with each other.

A few weeks ago, TMZ caught the 46-year-old singer talking to her new boyfriend through FaceTime while she was with her three children in Disneyland. Maybe he was really checking up on her to see if she's not back with her estranged husband Gavin Rossdale.

One of Blake's good pals revealed to ET that the country superstar has been keeping things about his girlfriend and doesn't want her to get close to him.

"He doesn't want me to hug her or anything," Luke Bryan jokingly said. "He doesn't want me to meet her."

The "Strip It Down" singer shared his theory as to why Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani prefer to FaceTime each other.

"We Facetime quite a bit," Luke Bryan said of his friend. "His house in L.A. has no service, so you have to Facetime him to talk."

The 39-year-old musician enjoys teasing "The Voice" coach and there's a saying that jokes are half-meant which means that Blake may have that quality of being a possessive boyfriend. Despite making fun of Shelton having scored a girl like Stefani, Bryan both wished them well.

"The whole thing with relationship is enjoy it and have fun," he told ET. "They're having fun and that's a good thing."

The No Doubt lead singer has been through a lot so constant communication with her boyfriend may make her feel more at ease with him.

Blake Shelton gave Gwen Stefani a standing ovation when she performed "Used to Love You" on the NBC reality series even if that song was about Gavin Rossdale. This clearly shows how supportive he is of her divorce and what she's going through.

"Sometimes it's hard to put it exactly how you want to say it when it's that personal to you, and so she was so excited that she got that out, and then it ends up being this smash song that it's turning into," he told Extra via Us Magazine.

"She deserves it. If you go through whatever she went through to write that song, at least she's getting something good, positive out of it."
