NBA Trade Rumor: Unhappy Phoenix Suns Forward Might Get His Wish After All

Dec 08, 2015 10:14 PM EST | By Rolly Gacelo

There were several NBA trade rumors before the start of the 2015-16 NBA season but none created more buzz than the one involving Markieff Morris.

The forward made it known how much he wants to leave Phoenix Suns on media/social media. Looks like his wish will happen soon.

NBA trade rumor mill is rolling again and the one in the front is Markieff who just got separated with twin brother Marcus who was trade to Detroit Pistons during summer

"The Houston Rockets have trade interest in Phoenix Suns forward Markieff Morris, who made multiple trade demands this past offseason, according to league sources," ESPN's Marc Stein reported.

"Sources told ESPN.com the Rockets are in the market for roster upgrades in the wake of their disappointing 10-11 start and have Morris on their list of targets, amid a growing belief around the league that the Suns are indeed prepared to finally move Morris."

Stein wrote the deal between Rockets and Suns might include the former's big man Terrence Jones.

Last August, 26-year old Markieff demanded to be traded following his brother's shipment to Detroit.

However, according to Arizona Republic, Suns has no plans to trade away the hardworking forward.

"The Suns need and want Morris," the publication wrote. "They would not stand much of a chance to replace him by trade. They would have no chance to replace him by free agency. They do not have an adequate existing roster option."

Morris is not on his best year right now as he is only shooting 39%. His coach Jeff Hornacek also questioned his effort in defense back in September.

"Some games he brings it, some games he doesn't," Hornacek told ESPN's Zach Lowe. "Maybe it's conditioning. Maybe it's him saying, 'If I put the effort in on defense, then I can't do it on the offensive end.'"

What do you think of this NBA trade rumor? Will this come in fruition?
