NBA Trade Rumors: 2013 1st Round Pick To Be Shipped By Pacers For Playoffs Preparation

Indiana Pacers is doing great so far this season but of course they are not contented with their performance.

This early, the team is already preparing for the playoffs and according to latest NBA trade rumor, one player might find himself out of Bankers Life Fieldhouse Arena is Solomon Hill.

"Marc Stein of ESPN.com and Candace Buckner of the Indianapolis Star both have confirmed the Pacers are trying to move Hill," NBA.com wrote. "His name has been linked in talks with the Pelicans for Ryan Anderson, as well as several other teams."

Although he rarely gets minutes, the NBA trade rumors suggest some teams are interested in acquiring Hill and Pacers could get someone of great value in return.

"At just 23, there's still interest in a muscular 6-foot-7 small forward with an extra long reach and the Pacers might want to swap out that potential for an asset that could help solidify their status as a playoff contender in the Eastern Conference," the league's official website further wrote.

Hill was drafted 23rd overall by Indiana Pacers in 2013 but ever since he came to the team, he is yet to make significant mark. He only played 28 games in his first season as he was assigned to NBA D-League affiliate Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

His best game with Pacers so far is when he scored 28 points on November 8 in loss to Washington Wizards this season.

The 24-year old small forward is unfazed by these NBA trade rumors though saying he is ready whatever happens.

"At this point, I understand it's a business," the former Arizona Wildcats standout told Indy Star. "Instead of being frustrated and moping around, I take it as being that guy that brings some energy into the game."

Coach Mike Vogel also confirmed they are looking to trade Hill but advises him to continue believing opportunities will open up for him soon.

"We're trying to improve on the offensive end this year and he's got to stay ready," Vogel said. "There are going to be times when he's needed and he's going to have an opportunity to get back into the rotation at some point."
