Most people who saw how the Conor McGregor - Jose Aldo fight in UFC 194 has only one description - Notorious dominated it.

The truth is the Irish featherweight champ felt pain, too. However, it was not something that slowed him down during the fight. The pain is from the punch that stopped Aldo.

Reports have it that McGregor is facing medical suspension after hurting his wrist which he used to knock down his Brazilian counterpart 13 seconds after the fight commenced in the first round.

"The Nevada Athletic Commission, which oversees all UFC events in the state, handed out nine potential suspensions due to injuries suffered at the event," Fox Sports reported.

"McGregor must have his left wrist X-rayed and cleared by a doctor for him to be able to return to active competition as soon as he desires."

As per MMA Junkie, McGregor could face six-month medical suspension if X-Ray results show potential damaging injury.

Before the news of the suspension, McGregor, 27, told media that he will not fight again until June next year. His coach John Kavanagh, on the other hand, hinted he might come back by April or July for a yet to be determined foe.

Among UFC is considering is a Conor McGregor - Jose Aldo rematch, with the latter demanding it immediately after the fight.

"I think we need a rematch, and that will be my fight. The trash talking didn't affect me," he said as reported by the Daily Mail. "I don't care what he says. Thanks to everyone watching in Brazil and thank you for the support. I will be back."

Another fighter who might derail plans of a Conor McGregor - Jose Aldo rematch is Frankie Edgar.

"Maybe he's got one more fight at 145 before he goes to 155," Edgar told MMA Junkie. "If I could get whatever I want, I'd love to fight McGregor in Madison Square Garden on April 23 (for UFC 198)."

Edgar, who sports a 21-4 Win-Loss record, also insists he is McGregor's weakness.

"I'm his kryptonite," Edgar said. "You see with Chad did with him on 15 days' notice, and Chad's not one to stay in the gym at all. I come to the gym a lot. You give me a good camp and ample time to prepare for him, I'm the guy to beat McGregor."
