Microsoft Xbox one gamers will be able to participate in video game action rather than just watch Twitch live streams when new capabilities come to the game console March 11 the AP reported.

"It's complete integration," Emmett Shear CEO and founder of Twitch told the AP. "It's exciting because we've never had the ability to broadcast from a console like this with such a deep level of integration," Shear told the AP. "The concept of being able to join a broadcasters' party is really cool, and it's another step in the direction of interacting more closely with broadcasters."

Users will be able to compete and play with other gamers, establish competition themselves via voice commands, videos of old games view live streams from equipment of their choosing, play the games in their living rooms via the Xbox game console's camera kinect the AP reported.

"That's a very certain type of experience," Yusuf Mehdi vice president of marketing and strategy for Xbox told The AP. "For us, we thought that was too limiting for what our fans would want. Our fans really want the full next-gen service, so that's why we decided to take our time, do it right and have it come out in this fashion."

"This will open up the social aspect of Xbox One in a new way," Mehdi told the AP. "The community of Twitch is huge, and this allows us to type into that, and frankly do something that's never been done before on consoles. You'll be able to broadcast to any device and consume anyone's broadcast from any device. It's a console experience unique to the Xbox One."

The new service will be available the same day Titanfall is released solely on Microsoft Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.

The Xbox One has an improved kinect sensor, which enables players to operate the device just by talking. Individuals can also connect the console to their satellite television equipment in order to watch TV, and flip back and forth between gaming, and viewing shows USA Today reported. The Xbox 360 can also do the same.
