Samsung Galaxy S5 Release: Sprint, T-Mobile Announce Dates For Mobile Deivce

A day after AT&T announced plans for releasing Samsung GS5 devices, Sprint and T-Mobile revealed details about their objectives.

According to The Los Angeles Times, Sprint will have the phone available April 11.

Those interested in T-Mobile, which also has an April 11 launch date can order the device ahead of time Monday, before the company's April 11 launch

Consumers who orders before March 31 can obtain the mobile device for no money paid upfront, but with through $27.50 installments each month until the amount to $660, the price of the phone The Times reported.  

Sprint will contact consumers who have ordered the device, notifying them about how they can pay for the device, which they can fund over two years at $27.09 a month for a sum of $650.16 The Times reported.

The Gear 2 smartwatch priced at $299.99, and Gear 2 Neo smartwatch at a cost of $199.99, and Gear Fit fitness tracker also at $199.99 are also on the Sprint menu beginning April 11.

The GS5 operates on Android's 4.4 KitKat, has a 5.1 inch, 1080 pixel high definition screen, a 2.5 gigahertz quad core process, and a 16 megapixel camera The Times reported.

The smartwatch gadgets can handle dust if and when users go for a hike, and fend off water if they are at the beach. Consumers can also measure their heart rate.

The devices can also make calls and transmit text messages when users utilize it with a Samsung galaxy smartphone a press release reported.

The watches also handle automatic notifications, and music capabilities that allow consumers to hear songs via the smartphone.

One new change is the re-location of the two megapixel camera on the Gear 2 to the front of the watch.

Those interested in the Samsung Galaxy S5 can buy one from an AT&T retail location and receive a $50 discount on the smart watches the press release reported.

AT&T plans to send out orders for the smart watches in April.
