PIxie Lott suffers wardrobe malfunction during a music festival in England.
Pixie Loot's fashion identity has always been that bohemian-sultry kind of statement, with her short dresses and crazy prints with scarves and high heels. She might have been able to pull them off most of the time (if not always), but a wardrobe malfunction is something celebrities must go thru at least once in their career.
First week of August is a celebration of music in England known as V Festival ('V' for 'Virgin Group' as sponsored by Virgin Media). Pixie Lott rocked the stage with youth and energy wearing a short, metallic yellow (almost gold) and black one-piece ensemble, with a relatively low but acceptable neckline.
During her performance, the 23-year-old UK Singles Chart topper sang and danced her heart out, not noticing her dress slowly slipping down. Though technically there wasn't a flashing of anything, a peep of her right nip pasty decided to attend the concert and generated a bit of a buzz.
However, compared to the other nip slips during that weekend, Pixie Lott's wardrobe malfunction photos seemed mild and alarmingly insignificant.
In her Twitter account prior to the concert, she tweeted 'Thank God for nipple petals and for @holly_rudge having them in her Mary Poppins bag just before stage time' (@Pixielott). Somewhat like a premonition of appreciation to the little nip pasty and what it will do for her later that day.
Sporting that relatively discreet frock, she might have thought the nip pasty was just a 'just in case'. And this case, it was a 'life saver'. If the other nip slip performers had this inclination, this V Fest would've been malfunction-free. But then again, what fun would it be if there wasn't an occasional peek-a-boo in a music event?
During the weekend V Festival, Lily Allen and Rita Ora had their own malfunctions in their respective performances. But definitely both subtle wardrobe malfunctions, and nothing Madonna- or Janet Jackson-like boo boos.
